Open DivX movie, for example: Solaris.avi

Sometimes, the length of DivX movie is too large (CD does not hold large files). So, in order to copy such movie on CD1 and CD2 it's necessary to split the file.

In our example we will split file Solaris.avi into two parts.
First part: 00:00:00 - 00:56:18
Second part: 00:56:18 - 01:53:59

By using FAST MODE you can split DivX movies very quickly. This is very valuable feature of DivX Operational Player. This is possible, because in Fast Mode the fragment is always extracted without recompression, preserving ORIGINAL QUALITY.

1) Open DivX movie, or any other video file. In our example the source file is Solaris.avi. Drag the slider bar with the left mouse button and move it to the desired position: in the middle of the movie (00:56:18). After that press End button.

Video fragment will be added to the list in Operational Wizard. Next, press Video Fragment button. Choose filename for the first part of movie. And make sure that the FAST MODE is selected (default mode).

After that, select audio compressor - WMA or Microsoft ADPCM is highly recommended. Do not use MP3 here! Because MP3 is not intended for avi interleaving of such type. Press Extract button and wait several minutes.

2) Next, select the second part of movie using slider and Begin/End buttons. For example: 00:56:18 - 01:53:59.

Again, press Video Fragment button, enter desired filename and choose FAST MODE.

Finally, choose audio compressor (again, WMA or ADPCM), and press Extract button.

That's all.
