Windows Vista Calendar
The finished product will look like this:
![]() Step 1: Make a new document and fill the background with black Step 2: If you want to make some lines in the background you can use Line tool + edit -> adjustments -> warp I made two lines and put them some blue outer glow with blend mode set to Color dodge. It should look something like this: ![]() Step 3: Now we have to create a new layer called Body. Make a shape ,which will be yours calendar (I used rounded rectangular tool): Go to its blending options and put the following effects. Drop shadow ![]() Bevel and Emboss ![]() Gradient Overlay ![]() It should look like this: ![]() Step 4: Now choose the size for the clips: Create a new layer, adjust the size ,use paint bucket tool to fill it with color and go in layers blending options ,to make it vista looking apply these metallic vista blending options: Drop shadow ![]() Inner Glow ![]() Bevel and Emboss ![]() Gradient Overlay ![]() Now copy and place it to make it like real calendar: ![]() Step 5: Now you have to write the date. If you know action script/flash you can make it auto-changing. I will make it the Photoshop way: The official windows vista font can be bought from Microsoft. I wrote the day of the week with 23px. The number 9 is with 100px size. The month and year is 23px sized too. You should now have the final result: ![]()
